FAQs
How do I clean the wool felt uppers?
Use a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to gently wipe away dirt. Avoid soaking the felt.
What is the lifespan of the Boston clogs?
With proper care, Birkenstock Boston clogs can last for many years.
Can I wear the Boston clogs in the rain?
While the EVA sole is water-resistant, it's best to avoid prolonged exposure to rain as it can damage the wool felt uppers and the cork footbed.
How should I store my Boston clogs?
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing them in a damp environment.
What is the purpose of the cork footbed?
The cork footbed is designed to mold to the shape of your foot over time, providing customized support and comfort.
How do I know if I have the right size?
Your toes should not touch the front edge of the clog and there should be a small space between your heel and the back of the footbed. Consult the Birkenstock size guide.
What kind of socks are best with the Boston clogs?
Wear the socks that make you the most comfortable! The felt uppers will naturally keep your feet warm.
Troubleshooting
The clogs feel too tight.
Adjust the buckle to loosen the fit. If that's not enough, consider a larger size.
The cork footbed is cracking.
Apply cork sealer regularly to prevent the cork from drying out. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high heat.
The wool felt is stained.
Gently spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid rubbing vigorously.
