Setup
- Prepare Your Vehicle: Ensure your car's roof is clean and free of debris where the bag will sit.
- Position Anti-Slip Mat: Place the included anti-slip mat on your car's roof in the desired location for the roof bag. This mat helps prevent sliding and protects your vehicle's paint.
- Load the Bag: Open the roof bag and begin loading your belongings. Distribute weight evenly to maintain balance. Avoid overpacking beyond the `400L` capacity to ensure zippers can close properly and material isn't unduly stressed.
- Secure the Bag: Close all zippers and ensure the protective flaps are covering them. Position the loaded bag on top of the anti-slip mat.
- Attach Straps: Utilize the `4 reinforced straps`. If your car has a roof rack, loop the straps around the crossbars. If your car does not have a roof rack, route the straps through the car doors (ensure they don't interfere with door seals) or use door frame hooks (if provided or purchased separately - *Info needed: Are hooks included or recommended for cars without racks?*). Cinch the straps down tightly and evenly, checking for any slack. Ensure the bag is centered and stable.
- Double-Check: Before driving, gently push and pull on the bag to ensure it is firmly secured and does not shift. Re-tighten straps if necessary.
Compatibility
This roof bag is designed for universal compatibility and is suitable for all car types, regardless of whether they are equipped with a luggage rack or not.
Care
- Cleaning: To clean the roof bag, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash or use harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Ensure the bag is completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mildew or odors.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the bag compactly and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
