Troubleshooting
Handle is loose or wobbling after installation
Check the mounting screws on the rose plate and tighten them firmly; ensure the spindle is correctly seated in both handles.
Privacy lock is difficult to engage
Verify that the door is properly aligned with the strike plate on the door frame to ensure the locking pin can enter the hole without resistance.
Handle does not return to the horizontal position
Check that the door latch spring is functioning correctly and that the handle mounting screws are not overtightened, which can create friction.
