Product Information

Full details

The Pet Head Ultimutt Clean 3-In-1 Shampoo is designed for dog owners seeking a deep cleanse, effective odour neutralization, and coat conditioning for their pets. Its key benefit is revitalizing dull, dirty, and smelly coats, leaving them soft, manageable, and fresh with a tropical mango and pineapple scent. A potential caveat is the need to avoid contact with the dog's eyes during use.

FAQs

What age can I use this shampoo on my dog?

This shampoo is suitable for dogs over 12 weeks old.

Can this shampoo be used on cats?

This product is specifically formulated for dogs. It is not recommended for use on cats.

How often should I use the Ultimutt Clean 3-In-1 Shampoo?

Use as needed based on your dog's coat condition and cleanliness. Regular bathing schedules are typically determined by breed, activity level, and veterinarian recommendations.

Will the scent be too strong for my dog?

The tropical scent is designed to be pleasant and refreshing. However, if your dog is particularly sensitive to fragrances, monitor their reaction. The Saccharomyces ferment component actually neutralizes odors rather than just masking them.

Does this shampoo help with matting?

Yes, the conditioning ingredients help to soften and detangle the fur, making it more manageable and reducing the tendency for matting.

What makes this shampoo '3-in-1'?

It's 3-in-1 because it deeply cleanses, neutralizes odors, and conditions the coat all in one application.

Is the avocado oil and vitamin complex beneficial for the coat?

Absolutely. Avocado Oil and the Vitamin complex (B3, B5, B6, and E) work together to soften, strengthen, and promote healthy hair growth, contributing to a shiny and healthy coat.

Troubleshooting

Shampoo not lathering well

Ensure the dog's coat is thoroughly wet before applying. Excessive dirt or oil might require a second application.

Lingering odor after bath

Make sure the shampoo is massaged deep into the coat and skin. For very persistent odors, a second wash may be necessary. Ensure thorough rinsing.

Coat feels dry after washing

While the shampoo conditions, ensure adequate rinsing. If dryness persists, consider a separate conditioner or a more intensive conditioning treatment.

Skin irritation occurs

Discontinue use immediately. Rinse the dog's coat thoroughly. Consult a veterinarian to identify the cause of the irritation, as it may be unrelated to the shampoo.
