Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Barreda trainers last, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: Wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the leather and suede materials to conform to your foot shape.
- Cleaning Suede: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the suede portions. For deeper stains, use a dedicated suede cleaner and avoid submerging the shoe in water.
- Leather Maintenance: Wipe the synthetic/leather portions with a damp cloth and mild soap to maintain their finish.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the materials from fading or cracking.
- Lacing: Adjust the laces to distribute tension evenly across the tongue, ensuring you don't overtighten, which can cause premature wear on the eyelets.
