The adidas Essentials Base Woven Shorts are designed for active men who prioritize performance, moisture management, and durability during high-intensity training sessions. Featuring integrated Climacool technology and a lightweight plain weave construction, these shorts effectively wick sweat while providing a full range of motion, though users should note the regular fit may feel looser than compression-style alternatives.

They are constructed from a durable, lightweight plain woven fabric designed specifically for performance.
While the material is quick-drying, these are designed for gym and training performance rather than aquatic use.
The model features a standard performance construction; please check the product garment tag for specific internal liner details.
Machine wash cold, avoid fabric softeners, and air dry to maintain technical fabric performance.
The zipped pockets are designed for small essentials like keys or cards. A standard large smartphone may be too bulky for the secure fit.
A regular fit provides a comfortable, standard silhouette that is neither too tight like compression gear nor too loose like oversized loungewear.
Ensure you are not layering with non-breathable underwear; use moisture-wicking base layers to assist the Climacool system.
Check for lint or debris caught in the zipper track and gently wipe clean with a soft cloth.
The fully elasticated waistband is designed to be secure; ensure it is positioned at the waist rather than the hips for optimal support.
To maintain the integrity of the Climacool technology and the durability of the woven fabric, it is recommended to machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Avoid the use of fabric softeners, as these can clog the technical fibers and reduce moisture-wicking efficiency. Air drying is highly recommended to preserve the shape of the elasticated waistband and the durability of the pocket zippers. These shorts feature a regular fit, so choose your standard sizing for a comfortable, non-restrictive experience.
