Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Setting the Time: Pull the oversized crown out to the furthest position and rotate it to set the hour and minute hands.
- Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to the first position and rotate it (usually counter-clockwise) to set the date. Ensure you set the date when the time is between 9 AM and 5 PM to avoid affecting the day/night cycle of the watch mechanism.
- Using the Chronograph: Press the top pusher to start and stop the stopwatch. Press the bottom pusher to reset the stopwatch hands to zero.
Compatibility:
This is a standalone analog watch and does not require compatibility with other devices.
Care:
- Strap Care: Clean the blue leather strap with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to water or harsh chemicals. Condition the leather periodically to maintain its suppleness.
- Case & Crystal: Wipe the stainless steel case and mineral crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant up to 5 ATM (50 meters), avoid submerging the watch for extended periods. It is suitable for splashes and brief immersion, but not for swimming, showering, or diving. Ensure the crown is pushed in before exposure to water.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, preferably in its original box or a watch pouch.
