Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the jacket's performance, ensure all zippers are closed and the hook-and-loop cuffs are fastened before laundering. Use a gentle cycle with a technical detergent specifically designed for waterproof garments. Avoid harsh fabric softeners, as these can strip the durable water repellent (DWR) finish from the outer shell. If the faux-fur trim becomes matted, gently brush it to restore its texture. The garment should ideally be air-dried; if necessary, tumble dry on a very low heat setting to help reactivate the waterproof coating. Store the jacket in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.
