Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Bostons last, begin by wearing them for short periods during the first week to allow the footbed to break in naturally. Because the exterior is suede, it is highly recommended to apply a suede-specific water repellent spray before first use to prevent staining. When the clogs become dusty, use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently restore the nap of the material. Avoid leaving the shoes near direct heat sources, such as radiators, as excessive heat can cause the cork footbed to become brittle and crack over time.
