Product Information

Full details

These adidas F50 Club TF football boots are designed for young, aspiring footballers who want to bring speed and control to their game on turf surfaces. The key benefit is enhanced agility and ball control, allowing players to outmanoeuvre opponents. A potential caveat is that they are specifically designed for turf, so performance may be reduced on other surfaces. Key features include a lightweight synthetic upper, a perforated floating tongue for breathability, and a non-marking rubber outsole for optimal traction on artificial ground.

FAQs

Are these boots suitable for firm ground (FG) pitches?

No, these boots are specifically designed for turf (TF) pitches. The outsole is optimized for artificial grass and similar surfaces and may not perform optimally or last as long on firm ground.

How do I clean the synthetic upper?

Wipe the synthetic upper with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Always allow the boots to air dry naturally.

What is the main advantage of the perforated tongue?

The perforations in the tongue allow for increased airflow, which helps to keep your feet cooler and more comfortable during intense activity.

How long does it typically take to break in these boots?

Synthetic boots usually require a short break-in period of a few hours of wear. Wearing them around the house or for light training sessions can help them mold to your feet.

Are these boots made from recycled materials?

Yes, these boots are made with at least 20% recycled materials in their construction.

Can I use these boots for indoor soccer?

No, these boots are designed for turf surfaces. For indoor soccer, non-marking flat-soled shoes are generally recommended.

What does 'TF' stand for in the product name?

TF stands for 'Turf', indicating that these football boots are specifically designed for use on artificial turf pitches.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable.

Loosen the laces and re-tie them, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit. Consider wearing thinner socks or allow a short break-in period for the synthetic materials to adapt to your foot shape.

Traction on turf seems insufficient.

Ensure the rubber outsole is clean and free from mud or debris, as this can impede grip. Check for excessive wear on the outsole studs, which may indicate the need for replacement.

Tongue is bunching up during play.

Ensure the tongue is centered and flat before lacing up. The floating tongue design may require minor adjustments during initial wear.

Materials feel stiff.

Synthetic materials often require a short break-in period. Wear the boots around the house for short periods to help them mold to your feet.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: These boots come ready to wear. Ensure a proper fit by lacing them securely using the provided eyelets. Adjust the laces for optimal comfort and support, ensuring no pinching or excessive tightness around the ankle or foot.

Compatibility: The F50 Club TF model is specifically designed for use on turf (TF) pitches, such as artificial grass or hard ground. They are not recommended for use on firm (FG), soft (SG), or indoor (IN) surfaces, as the outsole is optimized for artificial turf traction and could wear down faster or perform poorly on other surfaces.

Care:

Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud with a soft brush or a dry cloth. For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or soaking the boots.
Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain shape during drying.
Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using a shoe bag can protect them and prevent damage.
