FAQs

Are these sneakers suitable for running?

The Cloudmonster Void Sneakers feature a max-cushioned design and Speedboard for enhanced comfort and stability, making them suitable for light running and active daily wear. However, they are optimized for all-day versatility rather than specialized high-performance running.

How should I clean the recycled polyester upper?

Gently wipe the recycled polyester upper with a damp cloth using a mild soap solution. Avoid machine washing or using harsh detergents, as these can damage the material and construction.

What does 'Speedboard' do?

The Speedboard is an integrated plate within the sole that helps stabilize your foot and converts impact energy into forward motion, providing a propulsive and supportive feel during your stride.

Is the sizing accurate?

The product is listed as UK 7. On Running generally offers consistent sizing, but we recommend trying them on or consulting a size guide if you are unsure, especially if you have specific fit preferences.

Can these be worn in different weather conditions?

The haptic, technical-inspired mesh upper provides excellent breathability, making them comfortable in warmer conditions. While the materials are durable, the mesh may not offer significant water resistance in heavy rain, so consider weather-appropriate footwear for extreme conditions.

Are there any specific materials used in the shoe?

Yes, the shoe features a recycled polyester upper, haptic technical-inspired mesh, a perforated microfiber tongue, synthetic suede elements, and rubber outsole pads for grip and durability.

Troubleshooting

My feet feel hot or sweaty.

Ensure you're wearing appropriate socks (e.g., moisture-wicking). The haptic, technical-inspired mesh upper and perforated microfiber tongue are designed for breathability, but proper sock choice is key. Allow shoes to air out after each use.

The shoes feel less supportive over time.

While durable, all cushioning and stability components have a lifespan. Ensure you're not over-wearing them, especially if used for high-impact activities. Regular cleaning can also prevent material degradation. If wear is significant, consider replacement.

I'm slipping on wet surfaces.

The rubber outsole pads provide good grip on most everyday surfaces, but no shoe is entirely slip-proof. Exercise caution on very wet, icy, or oily surfaces. Inspect the outsole for excessive wear; worn-out treads reduce traction.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Exceptional all-day cushioning and comfort
  • Lightweight and highly breathable upper material
  • Enhanced stability from Speedboard technology
  • Durable construction with quality materials like TPU eyelets and rubber outsole
  • Versatile design suitable for performance and everyday style
  • Made with recycled polyester, promoting sustainability

Cons

  • Primarily designed for all-day versatility, not specialized for competitive running
  • Specific sizing (UK 7) may not be universally available across all variants
  • Mesh upper, while breathable, may offer less protection in wet conditions
  • Minimalist branding might be too subtle for those preferring more prominent logos

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup

Simply lace up and adjust for a secure, comfortable fit. Ensure your socks are comfortable and appropriate for the day's activity.

Compatibility

These sneakers are designed for adult males (UK 7) and are suitable for various casual, active, and everyday wear scenarios. Their black color and minimalist design make them compatible with a wide range of outfits.

Care

To maintain the longevity and appearance of your Cloudmonster Void Sneakers, follow these steps:

  1. Cleaning the Upper: Gently brush off loose dirt. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth or brush on the recycled polyester mesh upper and synthetic suede elements. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  2. Drying: Allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage materials.
  3. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  4. Odour Control: Consider using shoe deodorizers or stuffing with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain freshness after prolonged use.
