FAQs

Will these fit a 2014 Porsche Cayenne?

No, these are specifically engineered for the 958.2 facelift models produced from 2015 to 2017.

Is professional installation required?

While the mechanical installation is straightforward, professional installation is recommended due to the need for software initialization.

Are these headlights road-legal?

These headlights are designed to meet standard visibility requirements, but always check your local automotive lighting regulations before installation.

Do I need to buy extra bulbs?

No, these are integrated LED assemblies; all necessary lighting components are built into the housing.

Will these cause a 'headlight failure' warning on the dash?

If properly installed and coded to the vehicle's computer, they should function without triggering warning lights.

Troubleshooting

Headlight flickering after installation

This is typically caused by a mismatch in voltage detection; use a Porsche-compatible diagnostic tool to code the headlight module to the vehicle.

Dashboard error light present

Clear existing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) after the physical installation and ensure all wiring harnesses are fully clicked into place.

Uneven beam pattern

Perform a manual headlight alignment at a local service center to ensure the beams are leveled according to regional safety regulations.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These headlights are intended for the Porsche Cayenne 958.2 (2015-2017) and utilize a direct housing replacement method. While the physical installation matches OEM mounting points, the electrical integration often requires the vehicle's computer to recognize the new LED modules to prevent error codes.

Care Instructions:

Clean lenses regularly using a microfiber cloth and automotive-safe plastic cleaner to prevent yellowing or micro-scratches.
Inspect mounting brackets periodically to ensure the housing remains secure.
Avoid using high-pressure power washers directly on the housing seal to prevent moisture intrusion.
