FAQs
Who is the Callaway QUANTUM MAX OS Iron Set designed for?
This iron set is specifically designed for female golfers who prioritize confidence, forgiveness, and consistent distance. It is particularly beneficial for mid-to-high handicap players.
What does 'Oversized OS' mean in the product name?
'Oversized OS' refers to the larger clubhead size, which creates a larger hitting surface and a bigger sweet spot. This leads to increased forgiveness on off-center strikes.
What is the 'Progressive Tri-Sole Design'?
It's a design where the sole of the club changes shape from the longer irons to the shorter irons. This optimized sole geometry improves turf interaction for cleaner contact throughout the set.
Are these irons available for left-handed golfers?
While this specific listing is for right-handed golfers, Callaway may offer left-handed versions of the QUANTUM MAX OS irons. Please check product availability for left-handed models.
What type of shaft is included with this set?
This specific model comes equipped with Lady Flex graphite shafts, designed to optimize performance for female golfers.
How do I clean and care for these irons?
Clean the clubface and grooves with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid harsh chemicals and store them properly in your golf bag to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
Reduced distance or ball speed
Ensure the clubface is clean and free of debris. Check that the Lady Flex shaft is appropriate for your swing speed; if too soft or too stiff, performance can be affected. Practice with a focus on solid contact.
Inconsistent ball flight (too high/low)
Verify proper setup and ball position. The oversized design promotes a higher launch, so adjust your stance if needed. Ensure you are making a full, confident swing.
Grooves clogging with dirt
Clean the grooves thoroughly with a soft brush or damp cloth after each shot, especially in wet or muddy conditions. This ensures optimal spin and control.
