Homescapes Continental Pillowcase - 40 x 40 cm - Green

The single ply yarn is more durable and less prone to snagging or pilling compared to twisted yarns, leading to a longer lifespan for the pillowcase. It also becomes softer with each wash.

Homescapes uses a higher quality single ply yarn. The 400 yarn count in single ply yarn results in a fabric density and feel comparable to 600 thread count fabric made with lower quality twisted yarns.

Yes, the pillowcase is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for direct skin contact.

Egyptian cotton has extra-long staple fibres, which results in smoother, stronger, and more breathable fabric that is less prone to pilling and becomes exceptionally soft over time.

It is generally recommended to avoid fabric softeners with high-quality cotton bedding, as they can coat the fibres, reduce breathability, and diminish the natural softness and absorbency over time.

The colour is described as Moss Green, a deep, natural green hue.

Homescapes is a British company that specializes in high-quality bed linen, implying design and quality control are based in the UK.

This is characteristic of high-quality, tightly woven cotton. The fabric will naturally soften with repeated washing and use. Continue to wash as per care instructions.

Ensure you are washing with a mild detergent, inside out, and avoiding harsh chemicals or excessive heat. Washing at lower temperatures can also help preserve colour.

While designed for 40 x 40 cm inserts, slight variations exist. For a tighter fit, consider using a slightly plumper pillow insert or a pillow protector underneath.
