Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the Korum Smokeshield Coated Braid, begin by selecting a suitable hook and swivel. Use a knot like the Palomar knot or the grinner knot for secure connections. When tying knots, moisten the braid and tighten slowly to avoid damaging the coating or weakening the line. Avoid sharp bends that can compromise the coating. Inspect the line regularly for any signs of damage, such as abrasion or fraying. Store the braid in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Compatibility is best with hooks and terminal tackle suitable for specimen angling. Clean the line after each use by rinsing it with fresh water to remove any debris.
