Product Information

Full details

The Ruglenza Home Isola Shaggy Rug is ideal for homeowners looking to add comfort and texture to their living spaces, bedroom, or lounge areas. Its key benefit is a luxurious, dense pile that provides a soft underfoot experience combined with a practical anti-slip backing for safety. One notable caveat is that its long, fluffy texture requires consistent care to maintain its appearance and prevent dust buildup over time.

Troubleshooting

Rug corners curling up

Lay the rug flat and place heavy, flat objects on the corners for 24-48 hours.

Rug sliding on slick floors

Ensure the floor surface is dust-free and clean, as debris can interfere with the anti-slip backing.

Pile looking matted

Gently shake out the rug or use your fingers to fluff the fibers back to their original position.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Extremely soft and cozy underfoot
  • Anti-slip backing prevents shifting on hard floors
  • Washable design allows for easy maintenance
  • Dense, high-quality pile retains shape well

Cons

  • Requires regular maintenance to keep the shaggy pile looking fresh
  • Solid color may show lighter-colored debris more easily
  • Limited to smaller 60 x 110 cm dimensions for this specific model

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the rug is simple: ensure your floor is clean and dry before unrolling the rug to allow the backing to grip the surface properly. The Isola rug is compatible with most standard interior flooring types.

Care Instructions:

  1. Routine Cleaning: Vacuum regularly using a low-suction setting to remove surface dust without damaging the long fibers.
  2. Washing: Use a gentle hand or machine wash cycle to refresh the rug when needed; always air dry to protect the structural integrity of the backing.
  3. Spot Treatment: Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth rather than scrubbing to prevent the pile from matting.
