Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your jacket, follow these guidelines:
- Layering: The design fits true to size but provides enough room to wear a lightweight fleece or base layer underneath for thermal regulation.
- Cleaning: Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle with a technical detergent designed for waterproof gear. Avoid using standard fabric softeners as they can clog the pores of the membrane.
- Drying: Air dry in a shaded area. Avoid high heat from tumble dryers, as this can degrade the waterproof membrane.
- Maintenance: Periodically apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray to the exterior fabric if you notice water no longer 'beading' on the surface of the jacket.
