FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
While some Skechers models are machine washable, it is recommended to hand-clean these using a soft cloth and mild soap to protect the longevity of the materials.
Can I remove the insoles to use my own orthotics?
The Memory Foam insoles are generally integrated into the shoe design. Check if your specific pair has removable inserts; if not, it is not recommended to force them out.
Are these trainers good for running?
These are designed primarily for casual walking and daily wear, not for long-distance or high-intensity running.
How do I choose the right size?
Skechers generally follow standard UK sizing. If you typically wear a size 7 in other trainers, a size 7 in the BOBS Sport series should provide a consistent fit.
What is the mission behind BOBS from Skechers?
The BOBS line is part of a charitable initiative where Skechers makes donations to support animals in need.
Troubleshooting
Inner lining feels damp or retains odor
Remove the insole if possible to air out, or use a moisture-absorbing shoe insert overnight.
Laces coming undone during activity
Use a double knot to secure the laces or consider replacing them with elastic 'no-tie' laces if you prefer a slip-on feel.
Scuff marks on the synthetic overlays
Gently rub the affected area with a melamine sponge or a cloth dampened with a mild cleaning solution.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Skechers BOBS Sport Diego trainers maintain their appearance and functionality, follow these care steps:
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush or a damp cloth with mild soap to spot-clean the mesh and synthetic overlays. Avoid submersing the shoes completely in water or putting them through a harsh washing machine cycle.
- Drying: Always air dry your shoes away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, to prevent damage to the Memory Foam insole and adhesive materials.
- Fit: These trainers are designed for standard adult sizing. Ensure you use the lace-up system to achieve a secure lockdown that prevents the heel from slipping.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent colour fading.
