Anaglypta Lining Paper (White, 1000 Grade Double) is designed for decorators and DIY enthusiasts seeking to prepare walls for a perfect finish. Its key benefit is its ability to protect and prepare both old and new plaster, creating a smooth, paintable surface. A potential caveat is that it covers 10.6 square meters per roll, so careful measurement is needed for larger projects. This durable lining paper is ideal for achieving a variety of finishes once painted.

It is used to prepare and protect walls, providing a smooth, durable, and paintable surface over imperfections in plaster and existing wall finishes.
One roll of Anaglypta Lining Paper covers approximately 10.6 square meters.
Yes, Anaglypta Lining Paper is designed to be painted over with most types of emulsion paint to achieve your desired decorative finish.
While durable, it is generally recommended for living areas. For high-moisture environments, ensure proper ventilation and consider a paint finish suitable for such conditions.
Use a high-quality, ready-mixed or powder-based wallpaper adhesive suitable for heavy-duty lining papers. Always check the adhesive manufacturer's recommendations.
Once painted, it can be cleaned gently with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive water.
It is best applied directly to plaster or painted surfaces. If applying over old wallpaper, ensure the old paper is firmly adhered and in good condition, or strip it first.
This usually indicates insufficient adhesive or improper smoothing. Gently lift the affected area and reapply adhesive, smoothing firmly from the center outwards.
Ensure you are using a sharp, fresh blade on your craft knife. A dull blade can snag and tear the paper.
Check that the correct type of adhesive has been used and applied generously. Ensure the wall surface is not too porous or dusty.
Ensure the paper has been hung with tight seams. If minor gaps are present, they can sometimes be filled with a decorators caulk before painting.
