Fox Defend D3O Mountain Bike Gloves - Black

The Fox Defend D3O gloves are designed for aggressive trail riding and offer good protection and breathability. They are not insulated and may not be warm enough for cold winter conditions. For winter, consider a dedicated winter-specific glove.

While not explicitly marketed for touchscreen compatibility, many modern gloves allow for basic interaction. Test with your device, but specialized touchscreen gloves offer more reliable performance.

The premium leather palm is chosen for its grip and bar feel. With proper care, it is durable for trail riding. However, like all leather, it can show wear over time with extensive use.

D3O® Ghost™ is an advanced impact protection material that is very thin, flexible, and lightweight. It provides protection by hardening on impact to absorb and dissipate energy.

Refer to the Fox Racing sizing chart for gloves. Measure the circumference of your palm and compare it to the provided measurements. The fit should be snug but not constricting.

No, the D3O® Ghost™ knuckle inserts are integrated into the glove design for optimal protection and are not intended to be removed.

Ensure the hook and loop closure is adjusted correctly. If the glove is fundamentally too small, consider trying a larger size. The snug fit is intentional for bar feel, but should not restrict circulation.

Clean the leather palm with a damp cloth to remove dirt and oils. Ensure the gloves are fully dry. For older gloves, conditioning the leather may help restore grip.

The D3O® material is designed to be flexible at rest and stiffen upon impact. Wear the gloves for a short period to allow them to warm and conform to your hand's shape, which improves flexibility.

While designed for breathability, in very hot conditions, consider removing gloves during breaks or opting for a more ventilated model if extreme heat is a consistent factor.
