No, the hood is integrated into the jacket design for better structural integrity and weather protection.
The jacket is water-repellent, meaning it handles light rain well, but it is not a waterproof raincoat and should not be used in heavy or prolonged downpours.
Professional dry cleaning is highly recommended to protect the down filling and the integrity of the fabric.
The Moncler Avoce is designed with a tailored aesthetic; it is generally advised to follow standard sizing, but consider if you intend to wear thick layers underneath.
Keep it in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dark closet to prevent dust accumulation and moisture buildup.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper teeth and try applying a small amount of clear beeswax or a graphite pencil lead to the teeth to improve movement.
Take the garment to a professional cleaner who specializes in technical outerwear for a professional re-waterproofing treatment.
To ensure the longevity of your Moncler Avoce jacket, it is essential to follow the manufacturer's care guidelines. Due to the high-quality down filling and specific outer material, this garment should be professionally dry cleaned. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as this can damage the fill power and the water-repellent coating. When storing, ensure the jacket is hung on a sturdy, padded hanger to maintain its shape, and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading.
