No, these shoes are specifically optimized for hard, flat road surfaces.
The Metaspeed Sky Tokyo features a 5 mm heel-to-toe drop.
No, this is a neutral shoe designed for efficient, natural stride patterns.
While you can, they are purpose-built for racing; frequent daily use may shorten the lifespan of the specialized foam.
It uses a combination of FF LEAP on the bottom and FF TURBO PLUS foam on the top layer.
Select your standard UK size; ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
Ensure your running style aligns with the neutral designation of this shoe; if you require arch support, consider using a custom orthotic insert.
High-performance foams have a finite life. If the bounce fades, it is likely the midsole foam has reached its effective mileage limit.
To ensure optimal performance, ensure you choose your standard UK sizing, as the Metaspeed Sky Tokyo follows industry-standard fitment. Since these are performance racing shoes, it is recommended to break them in with a few short, fast-paced runs before using them for a full race. To maintain the integrity of the FF TURBO PLUS foam and the carbon plate, store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Clean them using a soft brush and lukewarm water; do not machine wash or tumble dry, as the heat can compromise the foam’s chemical composition.
