Full details
The Nike Infinity G Golf Shoes are designed for adult male golfers who prioritize a sleek, athletic feel on the course without sacrificing technical performance. Inspired by running shoe aesthetics, they offer excellent mobility for dynamic movements like the backswing or playing from the rough, though golfers who prefer a traditional, rigid leather feel may find them too lightweight for heavy stability needs.

FAQs
Are these shoes waterproof?
The shoes are designed with materials suitable for wet weather and feature an outsole pattern specifically intended for damp conditions, though they are not marketed as fully seam-sealed waterproof boots.
Can I wear these off the golf course?
While designed for the course, the running-shoe aesthetic makes them versatile, but the outsole is optimized specifically for turf traction.
How should I clean the exterior?
Use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes that could damage the finish.
Are these suitable for wide feet?
This specific model is a standard fit; if you require additional width, check for 'Wide' designated variants in the Nike Infinity series.
How often should I replace them?
Replacement depends on frequency of play, but generally, once the tread pattern shows significant smoothing, grip will be compromised.
Troubleshooting
Reduced traction in wet conditions
Check the outsole for compacted mud or grass in the tread patterns and clean them out with a soft brush.
Discomfort or pinching during a round
Ensure the laces are not overtightened across the bridge of the foot, allowing for natural foot expansion while walking.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight feel reduces fatigue over 18 holes
- Excellent traction on wet surfaces
- Modern, athletic design style
- Responsive cushioning for improved comfort
Cons
- Not as rigid as traditional leather golf shoes
- Lightweight material may show wear faster than heavy-duty leather
- Limited to specific aesthetic preferences compared to classic styles
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike Infinity G shoes perform at their best, verify your UK size 8 fit before your first round. Because these are performance athletic shoes, they should feel snug but not restrictive. For care, it is recommended to wipe the exterior with a damp cloth after each round to remove mud and turf debris, especially after playing in wet conditions. Allow the shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature; do not use direct heat sources like radiators, as this can degrade the specialized materials in the outsole and upper.
