The Asics Dedicate 9 is a purpose-built trainer designed for adult male padel players looking for a reliable, responsive shoe to handle the frequent stop-start movements of the court. With a padel-specific outsole for superior traction and a secure lock-in fit, it provides the stability needed for competitive rallies; however, users should note that the design is specialized for padel and may not be the optimal choice for other multi-sport court activities.

The Dedicate 9 is designed with a padel-specific outsole, which works best on standard padel court surfaces; while it may function on some clay courts, it is optimized for the specific demands of padel.
Use a damp cloth with mild soap to wipe the exterior. Remove the insoles to air dry separately and never machine wash or tumble dry your trainers.
Yes, the insoles are removable, allowing you to insert your own custom orthotics if they fit within the shoe volume.
Most users find the fit comfortable immediately, but it is recommended to wear them for a light training session before using them in a competitive match.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the rubber and synthetic materials from becoming brittle over time.
Ensure the laces are tensioned correctly, specifically focusing on the top eyelet to secure the heel lock.
Use a soft-bristled brush or a damp cloth to wipe the outsole clean, restoring the effectiveness of the tread.
Check that the shoe size is appropriate for your foot shape and consider adjusting the lacing pattern to relieve pressure points.
To ensure the best performance, tighten the laces until you feel a firm, uniform pressure across the top of your midfoot, ensuring the heel is locked securely against the back of the shoe. For maintenance, remove loose dirt from the outsole after every session to preserve the tread pattern's grip. If the shoes become wet, allow them to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can degrade the adhesive and structural integrity of the shoe materials. Always use the proper size as outlined in the manufacturer's guide to prevent blistering.
