Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon receiving your adidas F50 League boots, ensure you lace them up properly for the first wear. The midcut design and soft knit collar are designed for a snug fit, so loosening the laces adequately before inserting your foot and then tightening them firmly from bottom to top will help achieve optimal comfort and support. Take a few minutes to walk around and adjust the lacing to find your preferred tension.
Compatibility
These boots feature the FGMG soleplate, making them highly versatile for a range of playing surfaces. They are suitable for both firm natural grass pitches (FG) and artificial grass surfaces (MG). For optimal performance and stud longevity, it is recommended to use them on these designated surfaces. They are particularly ideal for firm, dry playing conditions where their stud configuration can provide maximum grip and stability.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Clean After Each Use: After every game or training session, remove excess dirt and mud from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals as they can damage the material.
- Rinse Studs: If playing on muddy pitches, rinse the studs and soleplate thoroughly to prevent mud from hardening and reducing grip.
- Dry Properly: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink. Stuffing them with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage.
