Arden Grange VetCare Renal is a specialized dietetic wet food designed for adult dogs suffering from chronic renal insufficiency or those prone to oxalate stone formation. This grain-free, veterinarian-approved formula focuses on supporting kidney health through controlled phosphorus and sodium levels while maintaining high palatability for dogs with reduced appetites; however, it must only be fed under strict veterinary supervision to ensure it aligns with your dog's specific clinical requirements.

No, this is a dietetic complete feed specifically formulated for dogs with renal issues or oxalate stone risks; it should only be used under veterinary direction.
Yes, the recipe is completely grain-free and uses sweet potato and pumpkin as primary carbohydrate sources.
The duration depends on your veterinarian's assessment. Usually, it is recommended for initial periods of up to 6 months, but your vet will advise based on blood work and progress.
Limiting phosphorus helps reduce the workload on damaged kidneys and helps slow the progression of renal insufficiency.
Yes, it includes MSM, glucosamine, and chondroitin to support joint health.
Ensure the food is served at room temperature rather than straight from the fridge, as warming it slightly can enhance the aroma.
Slow down the transition process by mixing a smaller proportion of the new food with the current diet over a longer period.
Transitioning to this diet should be managed carefully under the guidance of your veterinarian. When beginning the diet, it is often recommended to introduce it gradually alongside the previous food over 5 to 7 days to avoid digestive upset. Ensure fresh water is always available, as hydration is critical for dogs with renal conditions. Store unopened tins in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate any unused portion and serve at room temperature within 24 hours to maintain peak flavor and nutritional integrity.
