The Outwell Sideroads Awning Room is an ideal solution for campers with taller vehicles, such as the Fiat Ducato, Mercedes Sprinter, or VW Crafter, who want to quickly expand their living area. It provides a robust, weather-resistant shelter that attaches directly to existing wind-out awnings, offering excellent natural light and protection from the elements. While it excels in ease of assembly and portability, users should note that it requires a pre-installed wind-out awning system to function as intended.

This model is designed specifically for taller vehicles like the Ducato, Sprinter, and Crafter. It may be too tall or ill-fitting for smaller micro-campers.
No, the Sideroads Awning Room does not come with a built-in floor.
The fabric has a 4000 mm hydrostatic head rating, which means it is highly waterproof.
While the room is weather-resistant, it is an awning-style canopy and should be dismantled during high winds or severe storm conditions to prevent damage.
Yes, it offers UPF 30+ protection, which helps prevent fabric degradation and provides shade for occupants.
We recommend drying it as soon as possible. If you must pack it wet, remove it from the storage bag at your first opportunity to let it air dry completely.
Check that the included roof rafter poles are correctly tensioned and properly clipped into their designated mounting points.
Verify that your wind-out awning model is fully extended and that the tracks are clear of debris, which could prevent the connection mechanism from sliding in smoothly.
Installation relies on the presence of a compatible wind-out awning, which acts as the anchor point for the shelter. To set up, ensure your vehicle is level, extend your wind-out awning, and follow the attachment points to secure the room fabric.
