The Uvex 2 Leather Safety Boots offer S3 protection and are extremely light and flexible. They feature the latest generation of 100% metal-free uvex xenova® toe caps. These boots are also ESD rated, meaning they have resistance to ground under 35 megaohms, making them ideal for environments where electrostatic discharge is a concern. The durable leather upper is water-resistant, and the virtually seam-free design made from soft cowhide leather helps eliminate pressure points. A PU scuff cap protects the leather upper, especially when kneeling, prolonging product life. The dual-layer, low-weight PU sole with a removable antistatic comfort insole provides outstanding impact absorption, minimizing strain on the back, knees, and joints, particularly during prolonged standing. The Uvex 2 sole is engineered to support the natural rolling motion of the foot without restricting movement, and its tread pattern disperses surface debris to reduce slip risk. Additional features include a breathable lining, cushioning ankle protection, and a bellows tongue design to keep out debris. The outsole is heat resistant for short periods up to +120°C, and is also oil, petrol, and silicone-free. Tested to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 SRC standards.
