Yes, the double-layer fabric and waterproof technology are designed to provide warmth and protection in cold, snowy conditions. It is recommended to wear appropriate base layers for added insulation.
You can machine wash them at 40°C. Avoid bleach, and tumble dry on a low heat setting. Do not dry clean.
Taped seams mean that the stitching lines have a special tape applied to them, creating an extra barrier that prevents water from seeping through the needle holes, enhancing the overall waterproofing.
The braces are detachable and offer some adjustment based on their attachment points, but the primary fit is governed by the elasticated waistband and the overall size of the trousers.
These trousers are specifically designed for children.
The trousers are made from Elastodiene and Polyester, with a Tricot lining.
The product description does not specify pockets, but features like a zip fly and stud fastening are mentioned.
Ensure the size selected is appropriate. While elasticated, the fit is not adjustable beyond the elastic. Consider layering with thinner base layers if needed.
Ensure the snow gaiters are properly pulled down over the ski boots and are snug. Check for any damage to the gaiters that might be compromising the seal.
Check that all seams are intact and that the fabric technology has not been compromised. For optimal performance, consider reapplying a water-repellent finish occasionally, following manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure the fastening points are clear of debris. Apply gentle but firm pressure when attaching or detaching the braces.
Setup:
These ski trousers are designed for immediate use. The detachable braces can be easily attached or removed via the fastening points.
Compatibility:
These trousers are designed to be worn over base layers and are compatible with ski boots. The elasticated waistband and detachable braces allow for a reasonable fit with various body shapes within the specified size range.
