Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Diemme Derby shoes last for years, proper care is essential. Before your first wear, apply a high-quality suede protector spray to reinforce the factory-applied water-repellent treatment. If the shoes become dirty, remove dry debris with a soft-bristled suede brush. For minor spots, use a damp cloth and gently dab the affected area; avoid vigorous scrubbing which can damage the suede fibers. Never put these shoes in a washing machine or use artificial heat sources like radiators to dry them. If they become soaked, stuff them with newspaper and allow them to dry naturally at room temperature. Always store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the color and material integrity.
