FAQs
Are these sandals suitable for wide feet?
The 'EXF' fitting suggests a broader fit than standard, and the touch-fastening strap allows for adjustability, making them potentially suitable for wider feet. However, individual fit can vary, so trying them on is recommended.
Can I wear these sandals in wet conditions?
While the PU sole offers some grip, the leather upper and textile lining are not designed for prolonged exposure to water. It is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain or wet environments to maintain their condition.
How do I clean the perforated insole?
The perforated insole can be cleaned by gently wiping with a slightly damp cloth. Ensure the sandals are thoroughly dried afterward to prevent any moisture buildup.
What is the heel height of these sandals?
The heel height is 40mm, which is approximately 1 1/2 inches.
Do these sandals come in other colors and sizes?
The Hotter Eliana range typically offers various color and size options. Please check the product listings for available alternatives.
What material is the sole made of?
The sole is made of PU (Polyurethane), known for its durability and grip.
Troubleshooting
Sandals feel too tight or loose.
Adjust the touch-fastening strap to find a more secure and comfortable fit. If the overall fit is incorrect, consider trying a different size, as the 'EXF' fitting can vary.
Discomfort after initial wear.
Leather footwear may require a short break-in period. Wear them for short intervals initially. Ensure the insole is clean and dry. If discomfort persists, check for any rough seams or ensure the correct size has been selected.
Leather scuffs or marks appear.
For minor scuffs, try buffing gently with a soft cloth. For more noticeable marks, use a suitable leather cleaner and conditioner, following the product instructions. Regular conditioning helps prevent such issues.
Insole feels damp.
Allow the sandals to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat or sunlight. Ensure feet are dry before wearing to minimize moisture transfer.
