The Regatta Highton Stretch Zip-Off Trousers are designed for active kids who need reliable gear for hiking, camping, and general outdoor play. Featuring flexible Isoflex fabric and a practical zip-off design that converts trousers into shorts, they offer excellent versatility for changing weather conditions, though they are best suited for light protection rather than heavy-duty mountain gear.

The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish may have worn off. Use a specialized spray-on DWR treatment to restore the protective layer.
To maintain the functionality of the zip-off mechanism, keep the zipper tracks free of mud and debris. When zipping the legs back on, ensure the fabric flap is properly aligned to protect the zip. For cleaning, machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent; avoid using heavy fabric softeners as they can degrade the water-repellent coating. Hang dry whenever possible to preserve the stretch properties of the fibers. The trousers are designed to fit true to size for children aged 9-10, with the elasticated waist providing enough flexibility for layering base layers underneath during cooler mornings.
