Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Birkenstock Arizona sandals last, proper care is essential:
- Break-in Period: Wear them for short durations at first to allow the cork-latex footbed to warm up and shape itself to the child's foot.
- Moisture Prevention: Avoid wearing these in heavy rain or deep puddles, as the suede upper and cork footbed can be damaged by excessive moisture.
- Cleaning: Use a suede brush to gently remove surface dirt from the uppers. For the footbed, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can wipe away residue.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the cork to dry out and become brittle.
