Troubleshooting

Mirror arrives damaged

Inspect the packaging upon arrival. If the mirror is damaged, contact customer support immediately with photos of the damage and packaging.

Difficulty mounting securely

Ensure you are using appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (e.g., drywall, plaster, concrete). If mounting on a stud, verify its location. Consider consulting a professional if unsure.

Frame finish appears dull or scratched

Gently clean the frame with a soft, dry cloth. For minor marks, a slightly damp cloth may help. Avoid abrasive materials or cleaners, as these can permanently damage the anodized finish.

Reflection seems distorted

Ensure the mirror is mounted perfectly flat against the wall. Minor warping or unevenness can cause slight distortion. Check that no pressure is being applied unevenly to the frame.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Enhanced safety due to shatter-resistant tempered glass.
  • Modern and elegant design with a gold anodized aluminum frame.
  • Ready to hang immediately, no assembly needed.
  • Durable construction for long-term use.
  • Suitable for multiple rooms and functions.

Cons

  • Fixed size (60 x 90 cm) may not fit all spaces.
  • Gold color may not complement all interior designs.
  • Tempered glass, while safer, is still glass and can break.
  • Specific care instructions needed for the aluminum frame finish.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

This HOMCOM Wall Mirror arrives fully assembled and ready to be hung. Ensure you have appropriate wall-mounting hardware suitable for your wall type (e.g., drywall anchors, studs). Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for secure mounting.

Compatibility:

  • Room Type: Suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and entryways.
  • Decor Style: Best suited for modern, contemporary, or minimalist interior designs.
  • Wall Types: Compatible with most standard wall types when appropriate mounting hardware is used.

Care:

  • Glass: Clean the glass surface with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a glass cleaner, spraying it onto the cloth rather than directly onto the mirror to prevent liquid seeping behind the frame. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the glass.
  • Frame: Wipe the anodized aluminum frame with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. Ensure the frame is dried thoroughly after wiping.
