Compatibility
This kettle is designed for use with standard household electrical outlets. Ensure your power supply matches the voltage specified on the kettle's rating label.
Care and Maintenance
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
- Interior Cleaning/Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up, especially in hard water areas. To descale:
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1:1 ratio) or a commercial descaling solution, ensuring the heating element is covered.
- Let it soak for an hour, or boil the mixture if instructed by the descaler product.
- Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
- Limescale Filter: The removable limescale filter should be cleaned regularly. Remove it and rinse under a tap. For stubborn deposits, gently brush it or soak it in a descaling solution.
