FAQs
Can I bleach these towels?
It is not recommended to use bleach as it can damage the polyester fibers and weaken the fabric structure.
Are these towels lint-free?
They are designed to be low-linting, though some shedding is normal during the first few washes.
What is the exact material composition?
These towels are made from a blend of 65% cotton and 35% polyester.
Can I iron these towels?
Yes, you can iron them on a low to medium heat setting if necessary, but it is generally not required.
Will these towels shrink?
If washed and dried at the recommended low temperatures, shrinkage will be minimal.
Are they suitable for heavy-duty commercial use?
They are designed primarily for home kitchen use; commercial settings may find they wear out faster due to higher frequency laundering.
Troubleshooting
Towels feel less absorbent after many washes
Avoid using fabric softeners, as they leave a wax-like coating on fibers that repels water.
Towels have a musty smell
Ensure towels are fully dry before folding or stacking; use a slightly higher spin cycle in the washer to remove excess moisture.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your GC GAVENO CAVAILIA towels, follow these care guidelines:
- Pre-Wash: It is recommended to wash the towels once before their first use to remove any manufacturing residues and improve initial absorbency.
- Washing: Machine wash at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. Use mild detergents and avoid heavy bleaching agents which can degrade the fiber blend.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Avoid over-drying in the machine as excessive heat can cause shrinkage or damage the polyester fibers.
- Storage: Fold neatly or hang using integrated loops if provided. Store in a dry, ventilated area to prevent moisture accumulation.
