The Nike Academy 1/4 Zip Top is designed for adult male athletes who require a high-performance, breathable layer during intense football training sessions or gym workouts. Its primary benefit is the integration of Nike Dri-FIT technology, which effectively wicks moisture away from the body to maintain comfort and dryness. A notable caveat is its slim-fit construction, which may feel restrictive for those who prefer a looser, more relaxed athletic silhouette.

It is designed with a slim fit. If you prefer a loose or relaxed fit for training, you may want to consider sizing up.
Yes, the breathable polyester and moisture-wicking technology make it an excellent choice for outdoor running in mild to cool conditions.
The thumbholes are integrated into the cuff design. If you do not wish to use them, they lie flat against the wrist.
No, this top is designed for breathability and sweat management, not for protection against heavy rain.
Machine wash in cold water, do not use fabric softener, and hang to dry for the best results.
Ensure you are not using fabric softener, which blocks the wicking pores of the polyester fabric.
Check the zipper track for debris or fabric fibers and clear them; avoid forcing the zip if caught.
Avoid high-heat drying, which can shrink or distort synthetic performance blends.
Because this garment uses technical performance polyester, proper care is essential to preserve the moisture-wicking properties. Always wash the top inside out in cold water with similar synthetic colors. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can coat the fibers and interfere with the Dri-FIT technology's ability to draw sweat away. For drying, it is recommended to air dry or use a low-heat tumble cycle to prevent the synthetic fibers from breaking down or losing their shape. Given its slim fit, it pairs best with compression base layers or can be worn directly over a t-shirt depending on your preference for layering.
