Karrimor Hiking Shoes - Grey

These shoes are designed for general hiking and offer waterproof protection. While they can handle cool conditions, they are not specifically insulated for extreme cold. For freezing temperatures, consider adding thermal socks or looking for insulated winter hiking boots.

You can clean the speed lace system by gently wiping it with a damp cloth. Ensure any mud or debris is removed to maintain the smooth operation of the laces.

Yes, the Ortholite insole is removable and can be replaced with custom orthotics or other insoles if you require different arch support or cushioning.

Please refer to the retailer or Karrimor's official website for specific warranty information, as warranty periods can vary by region and vendor.

It is recommended to reapply waterproofing treatment annually or whenever you notice water no longer beading on the surface, especially after cleaning or heavy use.

These shoes offer good support and waterproofing for day hikes and lighter backpacking trips. For long-distance or heavy backpacking, consider a sturdier, higher-cut hiking boot for enhanced ankle support and durability.

Ensure the WeatherTite technology is intact. Check for any tears or damage to the shoe's upper. If the shoe is older, the waterproofing may have degraded; consider applying a waterproofing treatment. Ensure laces are tied to keep water out from the top.

Inspect the Dynagrip sole for excessive wear or embedded debris. Clean the sole thoroughly. For severely worn soles, replacement may be necessary, or consider alternative footwear designed for extreme grip.

Ensure the correct size is being worn. Try wearing thicker hiking socks. The shoes may need a break-in period; wear them for shorter walks initially. Check if the laces are too tight or unevenly distributed.

Wear appropriate hiking socks to provide a barrier. If the issue persists after break-in, consider using insoles for added comfort and a smoother interior feel.
