Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Trail Glove 8s, follow these maintenance tips:
- Break-in Period: If you are new to barefoot footwear, start by wearing these for short walks before progressing to runs to allow your muscles and tendons to adapt.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after every hike or run. For a deeper clean, use warm water and a mild soap; avoid harsh detergents.
- Drying: Air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not place the shoes near direct heat sources like radiators or in the dryer, as this can damage the foam and adhesives.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight when not in use to maintain the integrity of the mesh upper.
