The XFORT thumbturn cylinder lock offers enhanced security for your home without the need for costly handle upgrades or additional security devices. It features a peanut-shaped thumb turn on one side and a key-operated lock on the other. The high-quality 6-pin cylinder includes anti-pick, anti-drill, and anti-bump protection for peace of mind. Its patented anti-bump system uses a unique mechanism that ensures smooth key turning while preventing access from bump keys. The durable anti-drill design incorporates four hardened steel anti-drill pins per side, with moving pins made from nickel-plated hardened steel for maximum durability. The anti-pick design, with at least three anti-pick pins per side, makes it very difficult for common burglars to pick the lock. This lock is suitable for all door types, including wooden, metal, UPVC, patio, French, and composite doors, and can be used as a replacement or for new installations. It has "Secured by Design" approval from the Association of Chief Police Officers, ensuring top-tier safety against common break-in methods. Each lock comes with three keys. Professional installation by a locksmith or trained individual is recommended.
