FAQs
How many swags do I need to order for a standard window?

Can I mix and match colors?
Yes, the Alan Symonds voile swags are available in various colors. You can mix and match different colored swags to create a unique decorative effect.
What is the exact drop and width of the swag?
The swag measures approximately 22 inches (55cm) in width and 18 inches (45cm) in drop.
What type of hanging hardware is compatible?
The swag is compatible with net wire, standard curtain rods, or curtain poles with a diameter up to 28mm (3cm).
Is this product suitable for blocking light?
No, this is a voile fabric swag, which is lightweight and semi-transparent. It is designed for decoration rather than significant light blocking or privacy.
How should I clean the voile swag?
The swag is machine washable. It is recommended to wash it on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
Does the package include curtain rods or wire?
No, this product is for the voile curtain swag panel only. Curtain rods, wires, or poles are not included.
Troubleshooting
Swag does not hang evenly
Ensure the curtain rod or wire is level. Adjust the fabric by gathering or spreading it along the rod/wire until it hangs symmetrically. Check that the panel is centered on the window.
Color fading after washing
Use a mild detergent and wash on a cool or cold setting. Avoid direct sunlight exposure when drying if possible, or dry on a low heat setting in a machine dryer.
Fabric appears creased
Gently iron on a low heat setting after washing, or steam the fabric while it is hanging. Ensure the fabric is completely dry before ironing.
