The SolaDirect 20M Garden Hose Pipe is ideal for homeowners and gardeners seeking a reliable, heavy-duty solution for daily irrigation tasks. Its standout benefit is the durable 4-layer construction, which resists delamination and ensures long-term structural integrity, though users should note that at 20 meters, it may require proper coiling techniques to prevent kinking during storage.

This is a standard 1/2 inch diameter hose, which is the most common size for UK garden taps.
The hose is compatible with standard quick-connect fittings, which are typically purchased separately.
Check that the rubber washer inside the connector is seated correctly and ensure the snap-fit is fully engaged.
Unroll the hose fully and allow it to sit in the sun for an hour to soften, then drain and recoil carefully.
Setting up your SolaDirect hose is straightforward: ensure you have a standard 1/2 inch quick-connect tap adapter. Simply snap your connector onto the hose end until you hear a click. The hose is compatible with most major garden brands, including Gardena and Hozelock. For care, avoid dragging the hose over sharp, abrasive edges such as concrete corners or jagged stone. Always drain the hose after use and store it coiled on a reel or in a shaded area to maintain the integrity of the materials over time.
