Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
To ensure optimal performance and longevity for your adidas Copa Pure III Elite Laceless FG boots, follow these guidelines.
Setup
- Initial Wear: Upon first receiving your boots, try them on with your usual football socks to assess the fit. The laceless Primeknit collar is designed to be snug. Use the heel tab to assist in pulling the boots on.
- Break-in Period: The leather forefoot will naturally mold to your foot over a few wear sessions. We recommend light training or walking in them for a couple of sessions before playing a full match to ensure maximum comfort and a personalized fit.
Compatibility
- Pitch Type: These boots are designed exclusively for Firm Ground (FG) natural grass pitches. The stud configuration is optimized for solid, natural surfaces. Using them on artificial turf (AG), hard ground (HG), or indoor (IC) surfaces can damage the soleplate and studs, compromise performance, and potentially void your warranty.
- Foot Type: While the laceless design aims for a universal snug fit, individual foot shapes can vary. Ensure the fit is comfortable and secure around your midfoot and heel, with enough room for your toes.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After every session, wipe down your boots with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or mud from the upper and soleplate. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush can be used on the soleplate.
- Leather Care: For the Fusionskin leather forefoot, occasionally use a specialized leather cleaner or conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent it from drying out or cracking.
- Drying: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or direct sunlight, as this can damage the leather and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture. Keep them out of direct sunlight when not in use.
- Soleplate Lacquer: Please note that the lacquer finish on the soleplate is cosmetic and will wear off during play. This is normal and does not affect the performance or durability of the product.
