Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your Portico shoes, try them on at the end of the day when your feet are at their largest to ensure a proper fit. Pair these shoes with charcoal or navy trousers for a classic look, or dark denim for a modern, smart-casual appearance. For care, use a high-quality black shoe cream to nourish the leather and a soft horsehair brush to buff the surface to a shine. Use shoe trees after every wear to help the leather retain its shape and absorb residual moisture. Avoid submerging the shoes in water; if they become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack.
