FAQs

What is the benefit of gold-plated connectors?

Gold-plated connectors provide better conductivity and corrosion resistance, leading to less signal loss and a longer lifespan for the cable.

Does this cable support 4K resolution?

While this cable is HDMI 1.4, which supports up to 4K, it is best for 1080p content. Newer HDMI cables would be ideal for 4K.

Can I use this cable with an HDMI switch?

No, this cable is designed for direct connections and is not recommended for use with switches or selectors.

What does ARC mean?

ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows you to send audio from your TV back to an AV receiver or soundbar through the same HDMI cable.

What is the HDMI Ethernet Channel?

The HDMI Ethernet Channel allows for high-speed networking over the HDMI cable.

How do I clean the connectors?

Gently wipe the connectors with a dry cloth to remove any dust or debris.

What if the cable is too long?

Excess cable can be bundled and secured to keep things tidy, but avoid sharp bends that might damage the cable.

Troubleshooting

No picture or sound.

Ensure the cable is securely connected to both devices and that the correct HDMI input is selected on your TV. Try a different HDMI port or cable.

Poor video quality.

Check the resolution settings on your source device and TV. Make sure both devices support the same resolution.

3D not working.

Ensure both your TV and source device support 3D and that 3D content is playing. Check your TV's 3D settings.
