FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for long-distance running?
The New Balance 603 is designed for versatile training performance, which includes moderate cardio. For professional marathon-distance running, specific high-cushion racing models may be preferred.
How do I determine the correct UK size?
We recommend measuring your foot at the end of the day when it is at its largest, and referencing the size chart to match your measurement with the available UK sizes.
Can I use these for outdoor sports?
Yes, their durable construction makes them suitable for general athletic activities outdoors, though they are primarily optimized for gym and training environments.
What is the primary material used?
The New Balance 603 utilizes high-performance zinc-based materials, chosen for their balance of durability and flexibility.
Do these shoes offer arch support?
Yes, the series 603 is engineered with a focus on supportive structure to aid stability during physical activity.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight during the first few wears
Ensure the laces are loosened and the tongue is properly aligned; the materials will slightly adapt to your foot shape after a short break-in period.
Difficulty cleaning external material
Use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, wiping gently in a circular motion, and avoid scrubbing with abrasive brushes.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your New Balance 603 trainers, verify your UK foot size carefully before selection, as the fit is designed for performance stability. For care, keep the shoes away from extreme heat sources to prevent material warping. If the shoes become soiled, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the exterior. Avoid machine washing, which can degrade the structural integrity of the specialized materials. Air dry in a cool, shaded area if they become damp.
