Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and old sealant. Pierce the inner seal of the cartridge and fit it into a standard silicone gun. Cut the nozzle at an angle to achieve the desired bead size.
Compatibility: This sealant is suitable for use on a variety of common building materials including ceramics, glass, aluminum, and painted surfaces. For specific or challenging materials (e.g., plastics, metals), test adhesion in an inconspicuous area first or consult the manufacturer's data sheet. It is not recommended for use on asphalt, bitumen, or certain types of natural stone where staining could occur.
Care: Apply the sealant in a continuous bead. Smooth the bead immediately after application using a wet finger, spatula, or smoothing tool. Clean up any excess sealant with a damp cloth before it cures. Once cured, remove any residual sealant mechanically.
