Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Measure: Before hanging, ensure your curtain rod is wider than your window frame to allow the curtains to fully cover the opening when closed.
- Install Rod: Securely install a curtain rod at your desired height above the window. Ensure the rod's diameter is compatible with the eyelet rings.
- Thread Curtains: Simply thread the eyelet rings onto the curtain rod, alternating the direction of the first and last eyelet to ensure the curtain edges face inwards or outwards as desired.
- Adjust: Once hung, adjust the pleats evenly for a consistent and aesthetically pleasing drape.
Compatibility
These curtains are designed with eyelet rings, making them compatible with standard curtain rods. They are best suited for interiors that embrace rich textures and luxurious aesthetics. For a perfectly coordinated look, consider pairing them with the Paoletti Galaxy cushion, which shares the same unique fabric and design elements.
Care
The Paoletti Galaxy curtains are made from 100% Polyester, a durable and relatively easy-to-care-for fabric that is resistant to staining. While specific washing instructions should always be confirmed on the product's care label, polyester generally allows for:
- Spot Cleaning: For small marks, gently spot clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth.
- Machine Washing: If machine washing is indicated on the care label, use a gentle cycle with cold water to help preserve the fabric's color and texture. Avoid harsh detergents or bleach.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting or, preferably, hang to air dry to minimize wrinkles and protect the fabric. Avoid high heat.
- Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting. A steamer can also be used to remove creases, keeping a safe distance to avoid direct heat contact with the fabric.
