Trespass Womens Waterproof Jacket Daytrip - Blue - 14

Yes, the jacket features a waterproof shell with taped seams, designed to protect you from rain and wind. While it's effective for light to moderate rain, for extremely prolonged or torrential downpours, its lightweight nature may mean layering is key.

The Trespass Daytrip jacket is primarily a lightweight waterproof and windproof shell. It is not insulated for warmth. For colder conditions, it's recommended to wear insulating layers underneath.

The jacket features elasticated sides and cuffs for a comfortable fit. Additionally, there are back hem ties that allow you to adjust the tightness around the bottom hem to customize your fit and comfort.

The jacket features two zip pockets designed for storage. While the outer shell is waterproof, the pockets themselves are intended to keep belongings secure and offer some protection from light moisture. For electronics or items highly sensitive to water, consider additional waterproof pouches.

A 'grown on' hood means it is an integral part of the jacket, rather than detachable. It provides seamless protection and is often designed to fit snugly with elasticated elements for comfort and coverage.

This jacket is designed for general outdoor activities and everyday wear. While it provides excellent weather protection, its breathability for intense, high-output sports is not specified. For highly aerobic activities, specialized breathable waterproof gear might be more suitable.

This often indicates a need to reactivate the jacket's Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. First, ensure the jacket is clean by washing it according to the care label. If washing alone doesn't restore beading, consider using a specialized DWR-restoring wash-in or spray-on product designed for waterproof garments.

Utilize the back hem ties to adjust the fit. Pulling the ties will cinch the hem for a tighter, more secure fit, while loosening them will provide a more relaxed feel. Ensure both sides are adjusted evenly for comfort.

Dirt or grit can cause zippers to stick. Gently clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush and mild soap, then rinse thoroughly. Applying a specialized zipper lubricant or a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) can also help smooth their operation.
