Troubleshooting

Drawers are stiff or difficult to open/close

Ensure the chest is on a level surface. Check for any obstructions inside the drawer runners. Gently pull or push the drawer base to ensure it's seated correctly.

Wood finish appears dull

Clean the surface with a slightly damp cloth and then buff dry with a soft, clean cloth. Avoid polish unless specified for solid oak furniture.

Chest wobbles or is unstable

Confirm the chest is placed on a completely flat and stable floor. Check if any packing material was left underneath. If the floor is uneven, consider using shims under the legs.
